Dress Code
Pasatiempo is a semi-private club with a rich tradition. It is essentially an informal place, without undue rules or restrictions, other than those of good common courtesy. In order to maintain Pasatiempo as a special place, there are expectations for dress and conduct.
Shoes are required at all times on the golf course. Golf shoes must meet the approval of the Pro Shop; metal spikes are not allowed.
Men’s Attire
Permitted: Shirts with sleeves and collars, turtleneck, mock turtleneck, golf brand hoodies, slacks, and golf brand shorts that are above the knee. Hats must be worn with the bill forward, and shirts should be tucked in.
Not permitted: Tank tops, tee shirts, sleeveless shirts, cut-offs, sweatpants, denim pants, boardshorts, bathing suits, bike shorts, cargo* shorts/pants and other athletic shorts and pants, attire displaying profanity or suggestive pictures.
Women’s Attire
Permitted: Golf brand shirts and blouses, golf brand dresses, golf brand skirts & slacks, golf brand shorts, and leggings are permissible if worn under skirts or skorts. Hats must be worn with the bill forward.
Not permitted: Tank tops, halter tops, non-golf brand racerback tops, cut-offs, bathing suits, sweatpants, denim pants or skirts, cargo* shorts/pants/skirts, tennis dresses, yoga shorts, and athletic shorts, and attire displaying profanity or suggestive pictures.
*“cargo” is defined as pockets that are stitched onto the outside mid-thigh of the garment.
Driving Range
The driving range is located near the first green and is available for use by members and guests. Shuttle service is available from the first tee to the driving range.
Practice Facility
A professional practice facility equipped with a large putting green, a chipping green, and a bunker is located adjacent to the first tee.
Golf Instruction
Pasatiempo Golf Professionals offer individual and group lessons by appointment. Golf lessons may be scheduled by contacting the Pro Shop at (831)459-9155. Lessons are scheduled individually with the Golf Professional of your choice at the Pasatiempo practice facility or driving range.
Rain Policy
If you tee off and play less than 5 holes and have to quit because of rain, we will give you a full refund on the green fee but not on the cart fee. If you play more than 5 holes and up to 9 holes, we will give you 50% off the green fee. If you play more than 9 holes, there is no refund.
Walking
Pasatiempo is a very walkable course, having been built before the advent of electric carts; for example, every tee is close to the previous green. However, our terrain has a few elevation changes. If you like walking and don't mind a few hills, you will definitively enjoy Pasatiempo.
Pace of Play
Pasatiempo encourages a pace of play of 4 hour and 15 minutes. There are Marshals on the course to assist you with achieving this goal.

Caddies services are available. Please call our pro-shop at (831)459-9155 at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a caddy.
